Michelle Bucher

Michelle is  a qualified R.A.D. ballet and AIDT modern teacher that has been teaching since 1999.  She started training in ballet with the Royal Academy of Dance from age 5 with Lesley Angove, Desire Mackay, Kariena Olivier and Liz Macchonachie.  She finish Modern training with the Association of International Dance Teachers with Lesley McCoy and also trained in Ballroom and Latin American.  Michelle attended the Pretoria Arts Technikon working with Debbie Rakusin and Gillian Joubert.  In 2000, she obtained her Royal Academy of Dance teachers diploma  and in 2009, her Association of International Dance Teachers qualification. She worked as a freelance dancer and choreographer in various productions with the Val Whyte Bursary, Dance Umbrella, Deutsches  Orchester, Johannesburg Youth Ballet and Lions Rugby. Michelle has been teaching Ballet and Modern Dance  under the wings of Liz Macchonachie for 17 years and as from January 2018 she is the proud owner of To the Pointe Studio in Fontainbleau.
